One of my favorite Valentine’s Day traditions has always been celebrating the holiday of love with my girlfriends. Romantic date nights and over-the-top proclamations of love are great, but you can’t beat a February get-together with girlfriends to celebrate all things pink and feminine and lovely! While I usually plan a Galentine’s party, this year I couldn’t make it work between both boys’ birthdays, a work trip, and our 13th wedding anniversary all in the first two weeks of February. I just read your blog on “Why I Date My Husband” and Dolena was right. You are a very deep person and I am so proud of what you said in this. As an empty-nester, this is so true; it i an adjustment to just be two again. All you kids are busy with your own lives, as it should be, and the partnership had better be strong to enjoy your retirement years. Great advice and loving thoughts.
