6 Year Old Girl’s Easter Basket

Six year old girls easter basket
All the goodies I’m putting in my 6 year old daughter Avah’s Easter basket

Anyone else feel like Easter sneaks up every year? By the time I start planning the kids’ Easter baskets, it’s usually a week before the holiday and I’m stuck aimlessly wandering the picked over aisles at Target trying to scrounge something together. NOT THIS YEAR, my friends! This year I got my act together and had fun “curating” (aka spending too much money on) each of the kiddos’ Easter baskets, and I’m excited to share them with you over the next week here on the blog. I tried to keep them a mixture of some of our favorite small shops as well as some more accessible items from places like Target and Amazon.
To start, I’ve put together a practical yet fun and feminine basket for my oldest daughter, six-year-old Avah. She loves animals (especially sharks), drawing and creating, and anything “cool” (which is generally the opposite of anything I like). So with that in mind, here’s what I’m guessing is cool for a six year old girl to receive on Easter morning. What are some of your favorite things to put in an Easter basket for this age?

1. Tea Collection Smocked Neck Dress $40 (Similar)
2. Hanna Andersson Hipster Heart Print Organic Cotton Unders $20
3. Baby James Handmade Snap Clip and Yellow Clip-On Earrings $5 each
4. Watchitude Shark Print Slap Watch $20
5. Gummy Bunny Pen (similar) (12 for $10)
6. Lemongrass Spa Organic Bubblegum Flavored Lip Balm $4.50 each
7. Mac and Millie Geometric Leotard $35
8. Klutz Make Your Own Mini Erasers $16
9. Cat & Jack Aviator Sunglasses for Kids $6
10. Cat & Jack Shark Shaped Sunglasses Case $6
11. Color Street Bunny Print 100% Real Nail Polish Strips $9
12. Lego 3-in-1 Shark Building Kit $12

Growing up I always had a heart for adventure and a wish for a big family. These days, the halls of our home are filled with laughter and smeared peanut butter, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for joining me here where, between military marriage, big-family love, and living overseas, I share all the lessons I learn through motherhood, #Latenightcrafting, and the mistakes I make along the way! All while trying to instill a heart for adventure in our five littles. I love documenting our (mis)adventures on IG and hope you find inspiration for your next DIY, road trip, or just hard day when you follow along with #TeamArbo. Thanks for being here! Xo, Lo
